The life of African women is much more difficult than, for example, that of Europeans. At the same time, their level is dictated by problems with electricity and water. About 50% of the continent's population owns regular phones. 10% have smartphones. That is, based on the fact that about half of the country is women, you can make some simple calculations.
With other electronics things are even worse. However, the region plays a big role. In Central Africa, development is not as vigorous as in the North. Developed continents transfer considerable funds to the East and West. Therefore, the difference between meeting the domestic needs of the regions is huge. In rural areas, everything is about equally bad.

Do they watch TV?
Television in the country is developing. Naturally, everyone has already switched to digital broadcasting. It is interesting that ladies watch mainly cultural, social or educational programs. Sometimes they can watch reality shows.
Programs from India, China, the Philippines and South Africa predominate. The whole family, neighbors, relatives, etc. gathers to watch TV.

Many African women walk several kilometers to get water. They wash by hand. A washing machine is an unaffordable luxury.
