Super-Plus Bio: instructions, what is important to pay attention to when using it
Have you purchased a Super-Plus Bio air purifier but lost the instructions? Or did you find a device, but also without instructions? Then read on - the Super-Plus Bio air purifier, technical characteristics, what is included in the kit, what is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, how to care for the Super-Plus Bio air purifier, how to use the Super-Plus Bio air purifier, what malfunctions may occur when using the device, their causes and how to fix them.
Air purifier, what is it and why. An air purifier is a device for filtering and purifying indoor air. To do this, the devices contain electric motors that drive air from the room inside the structure. But there are models with a different operating principle, for example, “Super-Plus Bio” works on the principle of ionic wind. Invariably, this causes the air inside to pass through special filters/cassettes. As a rule, they consist of several cleaning stages. There are models of air purifiers that are equipped with additional functions - humidification, ionization, elimination of unpleasant odors, and air sterilization.

Make sure that the seller provides you with a fully equipped device.
How to store/under what conditions to use the Super-Plus Bio cleaner. The device must be stored/used in rooms with temperatures from +5 to +35 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity should be up to 80%. The higher the humidity, the less effective the air purifier is.
If you transported/stored the device at subzero temperatures, then the device must be heated before turning it on. Keep it at room temperature for at least two hours.
The device is not shock-resistant - protect Super-Plus Bio from shocks, falls and other mechanical impacts. At temperatures above 40 degrees, the circuits and boards of the purifier begin to short out, because of this it will not work correctly. The same effect will occur if moisture gets inside the case.
What the warranty does not cover. The manufacturer's warranty is 36 months from the date of purchase indicated in the passport. If the date of purchase is not indicated in the passport, the period starts from the date of manufacture of the device. The warranty does not apply to the device if it has mechanical damage. If you decide to disassemble the device yourself for repair, the service center may refuse to provide you with warranty services.
It is recommended to keep the packaging of the device until the end of the warranty period. The rules for using the cleaner prohibit:
- Cover/close the air intake grilles during operation
- Inserting foreign objects into the device
- Use the unit in a room with a relative humidity above 80%
If you are highly sensitive to ozone, we do not recommend staying indoors while the purifier is operating.
Design of the Super-Plus Bio air purifier. The design of the device consists of two main parts (body and cassette). The cassette is a filter through which air passes. It is inserted into the case from above and secured with latches. There is a control panel on the front of the case. On it you can select one of five modes and turn the device on/off. The device only works in a vertical position.
The operating principle of the Super-Plus Bio air purifier is based on “ionic wind”. That is, the purifier sends a small corona discharge into the air next to it, because of this, dust, dirt and other small particles that pollute the air acquire a positive charge. And in the cassette inside the device there are precipitation plates with a negative charge.
The device shocks the air with current, the dirt receives a positive charge and pulls the air with it towards the plates with a negative charge. Contaminants settle on the plates, and air passes through the cassette. In it, it is filtered and treated with ozone to eliminate unpleasant odors and suppress the activity of microorganisms. Bacteria, viruses, and spores do not survive in air with high ozone concentrations. Air escapes through the grilles.
Thus, the device is capable of purifying the air from 96% of contaminants (dust, fluff, fur, wool, smoke, bacteria, microorganisms, unpleasant odor) in a room with a volume of 20-130 cubic meters.
How to use the Super-Plus Bio cleaner
- The air purifier must be installed at a distance of 1.5 meters from the place of people's main residence. This is, again, due to the release of a large amount of ozone, which, in high concentrations, will have a bad effect on health.
- After determining the location and correct installation (vertically, the place for the cassette is located on top), insert the plug of the device into the socket (voltage 220 volts, frequency 50 hertz).
- To turn on the device, press the on/off button.
- To select one of five modes, hold the on/off button. The LED backlit model will change color depending on the selected mode. For a model with a liquid crystal screen, all information will be displayed on the display.
There are 5 operating modes in the device, they differ in cleaning speed, efficiency and the number of work/rest periods. The minimum mode is the least effective, but is suitable for continuous operation. It can be used by people with high sensitivity to ozone. The maximum mode is recommended for one-time quick cleanings.
List of operating modes with brief characteristics
- Minimum – for cleaning a room with a volume of up to 35 cubic meters, recommended for use by people sensitive to ozone, the LED strip/indicator glows green. Intervals: work for 5 minutes, rest for 5 minutes.
- Optimal - for cleaning rooms with a volume of 35-65 cubic meters, the indicator glows yellow. Intervals: work for 10 minutes, rest for 5 minutes.
- Maximum – cleans rooms with a volume of 65-100 cubic meters; when this mode is selected, the indicator lights up red. Intervals: constant work.
- Forced – a mode of active air purification from microorganisms to prevent the spread of infections. It is recommended to use up to 2-3 hours in a row with a break of 5-6 hours. After 2 hours from the moment of switching on, the purifier will automatically turn off the forced mode. To turn on this mode, press button 7. In models with LED backlighting, indicators 6 and 8 will glow green. There should be no people in the room while the device is operating in this mode.
- Forced plus is the same forced mode, only it does not turn off automatically - it works constantly. Use in rooms with a volume of 100-130 cubic meters. To turn it on, press button 7 twice and hold, the backlight will be red.
What malfunctions may the device have, their causes and how to fix them. There are two main malfunctions of the device: the device does not turn on (the indicator does not respond/flashes) and there is a lot of noise during operation.
Possible causes for the first problem could be:
- The cassette is not fully inserted into the structure or is not well dried (it should be dry when you insert it into the housing)
- Eating problems
To solve it:
- Remove and insert the cassette until it stops
- Dry the cassette
- Check the cord, socket and power supply for faults
- Contact the service center
Possible causes of the second malfunction:
- The cassette is too dirty/large contamination has entered it
- The cassette is not dried well
- The cassette is not inserted correctly into the housing
To solve it:
- Rinse and clean the cassette
- Dry the cassette thoroughly
- Remove and reinsert the cassette until it stops
